Last month back I picked back up on the granny square afghan I started for Adam and I. With the exception of maybe one row I worked on in like..September, it hadn't really been touched in almost a year!
It's much bigger now, but still not big enough. I'm going to have to get more yarn soon and keep going and going... I want it to at least cover the top of our bed, which even though it kind of looks like it below, it doesn't.

It nice to have an ongoing project like this that I can work on when Adam and I do things like watch a million episodes of Doctor Who, or whatever. Also nice: I can keep cozy under it while working!
i love the colors! what kind of yarn did you use?
ReplyDeleteCotton Ease by Lion Brand. It's probably my favorite yarn!
ReplyDeleteHi, Sarah! I came by to check on Tod and ask how he was doing. I have pictures of him on my blog that I placed before I sent him to you and it was so nice to see him again in pictures.
ReplyDeleteI love this granny square afghan you are making. There's just nothing about the comfortable familiarity of the granny square. I know that it is going to be so warm, too, and soft since you are using cotton. It's going to be wonderful! Keep us posted as you finish it!
Hi Karla! He is doing very well. He sits on a trunk in our living room and gets many many compliments and makes me smile everyday! :)
