bears and stuff

MYM was good. a little bit slow, but i still really like going! i bought the best pair of underwear probably ever from my friend ashley of bullfight. i seriously can't get over how comfy they are!! i also finally got to meet morgan of franks and beans after having talked to her online a million times. her yarn is so beautiful and the colors are so vibrant!

it was nice this weekend. not too hot and a little bit breezy. we had a small bbq yesterday. it was a nice low key one for a sunday. we played wii and croquet. croquet is much more fun when you pretty much entirely ignore the rules and just crack the hell out of the balls.

so here are some more bears! i think i'm going to put them in the shop at some point today.

this little guy finally got a face and tummy and other stuff! i'm sleepy today, it's been warm and sunny the past few days and most of today has been a little chilly (at least in the house) and cloudy. of course, as i write this i look outside and the sun is out. whateves.

Casie of BeBe Babies got the logo i designed for her tattooed on her back!! it pretty much made my day/life! seriously!!

ok ok. so lately i'v e gotten on this kick of downloading game demos late at night and playing them. they usually only last an hour and since they are all casual games, you can more or less play through the whole thing in about that much time. adam got me one for my birthday called fashion solitaire which i pretty much love to death because you dress these little models, BUT what i really love about it is that you can customize the wardrobes. and oh man, it's so fun. it's almost like how i like to make sims and build them houses and then not actually play with them.
i feel like it's a really fun way for me to play with color and pattern in a context as opposed to when i play around on the colourlovers site.

i'm feeling all kinds of inspired by google maps. too bad it will have to wait.

i realized today that i have lots of materials that are just sitting around and not getting used. so while i was waiting for adam to come home i pulled out some of my shrink plastic and made this brooch. i made a couple other ones too and i think i really like it!

i think tomorrow i'm going to start testing ways to print some fabric for a custom order. i'm going to try gocco first with the regular inks and see how they wash. the fabric inks for gocco are so horrible to use. i don't even know if i kept the black tube that i had. horrible.

oh lordy, what a weekend.

so friday i picked up my brother and my friends deanne and james at the train station. we had drinks and dinner and played lots of rock band and wii. it was tons of fun! then on saturday we got breakfast and then got ready for my birthday party!! it was such a fun party!! i can't even begin to explain how happy i was with how everything turned out. it was awesome to have friends from home and friends from here and new friends too! (by the way, check out bullfight!)


puppy tattoos are awesome. also, oh man, we had a DANCE PARTY!!!! which is what i really, really really wanted to have happen on my birthday and it did!


oooh, i need to get my butt back to work tomorrow. today was an unwind-from-the-crazy-month-of-company day. 0h, also i hit 100 sales in my etsy shop on my birthday! yaaay!
