Oury & Thomas 4 Prez

These are two of the most amazing animation shorts I have ever seen. I found them a few years back when I was in school and looked them up again tonight:

I found an awesome website last night with videos of how to do all sorts of different embroidery stitches. I tried out some last night, but they don't look so hot because I was sitting in the living room where it's not very bright. I think I'm going to try some more today though. Just for a little bit. I have a ton of other stuff to do but my brain is just not in the right place to work on it now.

I like that since I usually stay up kind of late I can catch the sun coming out on the east coast via the webcam of the inn I used to work at in Maine. The other day I caught it just as it was getting light and the fog was still in the bay. I love how this screen shots look. I think they kind of look underwater-ish.

I was super productive today. I worked on some custom ordered stamps and packaged them up. For a little while now I've been watching episodes of Six Feet Under while I work and man, do I love it! At first I thought I just liked it because it was something to watch Michael C. Hall in while I wait for season 3 of Dexter. But no, I was wrong. I love it all.

In other news: I have one hell of a tummy ache :(

I've been working on some new stamps!

It's not all hot in the house today! It's great! It's been much easier for me to be productive instead of being a lump in front of a fan. However it did make me not want to get out of bed because I was actually able to snuggle under my sheets.

boo, it's hot

bear and robot tattoo

so my fourth was awesome! adam's brother paul flew out from philly and we all spent it with my dad and brother in seattle. it was a good time and fun was had by all. paul was going to get that drawing up there tattooed on him but the place we wanted to go to was booked so hopefully he will be able to get it next time he comes to visit.

i spent what felt like an eternity on myspace sending out friend requests for the pdx craft mafia this morning. i must have sent over 100, which may not seem like all that many but when a ton of people have those capture things where you have to put in the letters, it gets kind of tiring! not to mention that i was moving room to room with my laptop trying to find the coolest spot in the house.

i feel like i had 5 million other things to write, but they're just not coming to me at the moment. i think my brain is momentarily fried from myspace/adobe illustrator being a jerk/heat/pc vs. mac/lack of cookies. i think i shall take a break. stat.
