we got our couches today! i know that this has nothing to do with crafting but i am just so damn excited that they are all i want to talk about!

i want to find/make some really cool pillows to put on them because the color is so damn fun.

now i can be cozy when i crochet or when i use my laptop...like i am comfortably doing RIGHT NOW.

being productive feels so damn good.

wednesday i printed 40 cards and about 15 pins
thursday i stitched and made 15 pins, folded 40 cards and then printed 42 more cards and printed 20 more pins

today i will fold 42 cards, stitch and make 20 pins and then print more pins and cards!

gocco, i love you!

today i started printing up some note cards for some sets that i am going to make. i almost forgot how much fun it is using my print gocco. so yeah, i printed up about 40 mini note cards and still had lots of ink left on my screen. i'm not sure how, i never really put much ink on.

but anyway!

i tried my gocco on felt for the first time and i have to say i was really surprised how well the line quality came out on the felt. i expected it to be all fuzzy and the fibers to be all over the screen.



so i printed on a bunch of scraps that i have. i'm going to make them into little pins i think. i'm excited! and for like...the first time ever i remembered to clean my screen so i can use it again.

i think that tomorrow i will burn my other two screens and print the rest of the cards.

aww, she's all done!

oh gee. oh gee. for some reason today i'm spending a bunch of time in adam and i's bedroom. i think maybe because it's the brightest room in the house right now and the view to the backyard is really pretty.

i've been drawing lots of little animal portraits lately. it's really fun to draw them like they are people. i need to learn to draw hair and clothing better. i want to make more with fancy hairstyles and fancy dresses. i guess i'll have to get some books or something.

i think that cardboard is my new favorite thing to draw on. i guess it's good thing that adam and i have lots of cardboard boxes from moving. i really like how the paint markers and just paint in general look over the brown. white paper and canvas is so boring to work on.

ok, ok , ok. so i can already see that part of my future is going to entail having a pile of fabrics that i really love, but don't do anything with. i think i probably helped my mom with that over the past few years. there is quite a beautiful stash at her house!

anyway, these are beautiful and really really love them and would like to get my hands on some at some point. (i think i saw some on etsy!)
