so every once and a while, when i'm bored i like to google my name and adam's name and my brothers. i don't know, maybe it's silly, but i find it kinda neat to search my name and have most of the results on the first page be about me! (even the very first listing!)

so anyway, just now i searched my name and found that some of my work had been featured on rhymes with twee! i love that she referred to my drawings as animals playing dress up! so cute!


now, i think this is super exciting because leigh is my first repeat customer who isn't someone i know in person! i mean, repeat a repeat customer is a pretty good feeling, right?! when i get back to eugene, i will send out her stuff and stick a little surprise in for sure.

colors!

so now that colourlovers.com has the option to make palettes with patterns, it's pretty much all i want to do. i'm kind of nutty over nice color palettes. they make me so happy! the best thing is you can download the palettes and use them in illustrator or other programs. anyway, here are a few that i have made.

new hair!

ok, ok, so i'm really excited about the finger puppet i made today!! for a little while, i've been trying to figure out how i was going to make big tall hair and have it be able to stand up alright. i thought about felting it, but i didn't want it to be too stiff and i also don't have all that much white wool roving. so i tried using fiberfil, and at first it was too wild and wasn't keeping form at all. so i figured since the fiberfil sort of feels similar to roving i would try and see if my felting needles would work. and they did! so now i have an abundance of material to make awesome, big haired animals out of! i'm so happy!!

you can certainly expect to see many more of these big haired ladies.

here's some new stuff! i like making little drawings into stickers and magnets! it's fun!

i'm doing a trade with Lexi from Saint Lexi on etsy and i'm really excited!! i'm sending her a journal that was in my etsy shop, but i painted it up and made it extra cute. i'm pretty happy with how it came out and i think i might actually make some more! i didn't initially think i would be able to paint right on the journal because i was worried that it might run, but i tried it on a extra one that had a messed up print and it worked just fine! so, yeah. good to know.

after i finished up the journal i was still in painty kind of mood, so i decided to make a new sticker set. i decided to make it all little animal ladies with big hair.

adam is trying to fix our super clogged sink. i hope it works out alright. so far so good i think.
although, i'm not sure that either of us know why it's so clogged in the first place.
